What to Expect
SeaCraft Hover Tours offers South Central Alaska's only hovercraft excursion.
On our tour, you and your family will have unrestricted access to many places inaccessible to traditional watercraft. Instead of riding on the water, you will fly just above them, maximizing the comfort of your tour from start to finish.
Talkeetna Scenic Tour
Launching out of Talkeetna, your experienced USCG-certified master captain will navigate you out to the Susitna River and head north onto the the Chulitna River.
This route offers very little traveled and explored wilderness with Denali looming largely in the background. The captain will navigate you upstream towards the canyon gliding over sand bars and looking for eagles, bears, and moose amongst other wildlife.
A few stops will occur on the glacially braided river and no two tours end up the same! Some safe tricks/stunts will be performed for the thrill seekers if asked! Total tour time is 90 minutes and you will be dropped back off in Talkeetna at the end of your tour.
Knik River & Glacier Tour
The Knik River and Glacier tour occurs outside of Palmer, AK in an area called Jim Creek, and is an all-day tour for up to 6 passengers.
Local thrill seekers can be seen riding 4-wheelers, bush planes, and helicopters as you travel towards the end goal of the Knik Glacier and Lake George National Preserve deep into the Chugach Mountains surrounded by wilderness.
Wildlife can be spotted among the massive glacial outwash pane such as eagles, bears, and moose. Each tour is uniquely yours, as the captain will divert to show off the hovercraft's amphibious abilities and land to explore gorgeous beaches. Total tour time is 5 hours and you will be dropped back off at the Knick Bridge at the end of your tour.
